Managing creators effectively throughout your campaign ensures a smooth process, clear communication, and on-time content delivery.
Use this checklist to monitor progress, review work, and guide creators from initial application all the way to completion.
1. Review Applications
Your application review process determines which creators move forward and sets the foundation for a successful campaign.
Decide: Do you need to share creator lists with clients or collaborators outside of Later?
A Shareable Influencer Review Link makes it easy to collaborate on creator selection. It allows brand partners, clients, or colleagues outside your Later Influence account to review applicants without needing a login.
Using this link, reviewers can:
- View all creators who applied to your campaign
- See profile previews and application details
- Cast Upvotes or Downvotes to provide feedback
- Have their name and email recorded so you can see whose input you’re reviewing
This replaces scattered spreadsheets or screenshots and centralizes feedback, speeding up decision-making

Task: Are you consistently reviewing creators in the early workflow stages?
Make sure you are reviewing creators in the Applied stage — these are creators actively interested in working with you. Engaging with them promptly leads to the best results.
Understanding workflow stages — and who is responsible for moving creators forward — keeps your team organized and ensures no applicant gets missed.

2. Decide on Deliverables and Set Deadlines
Task: Do you have a specific hashtag for your campaign?
When creators post for your campaign, Later Influence automatically imports their content using binding hashtags — unique hashtags that connect their posts to your campaign.
Make sure you choose a hashtag that:
- Is unique to this campaign
- Will be used by every creator
- Won’t appear in unrelated posts
| ✅ Good binding hashtags: | ❌ Risky binding hashtags: |

#MilkBarBirthday2025 #MilkBarSummerLaunch |
#MilkBar used across multiple campaigns at the same time. |
Where to set a binding hashtag: Go to your campaign → Setup → Deliverables
Decide: Do you want to assign the same deliverables to every creator?
Deliverables define what creators will produce — content, reviews, product photos, shared links, etc.
If you want to assign the same deliverables to all creators:
- Open your campaign
- Go to Setup
- Open Deliverables
- Click + Add Deliverable and fill in the details
If you want to assign deliverables creator-by-creator: Use individual or bulk assignment.

3. Collaborating with Creators
Task: Are you consistently reviewing your Messages inbox and Tasks?
The Messages tab houses all creator communications — treat it like your email inbox to stay organized.
Each Task tells you exactly what needs to be done. Once completed, it automatically clears from the Tasks list.
Learn more about Tasks here: Staying Organized with Tasks
Task: If drafts are required, have you shared feedback with creators?
Consistently review the Draft Review workflow stage. Tasks will also notify you when drafts need attention.
Each draft can be marked as:
- Approved → Ready to publish; no changes needed
- Approved with Corrections → Minor edits; no resubmission required
- Needs Work → Major revisions; creator must resubmit
Don’t forget:
- Leave notes in the Feedback for the Influencer field — this is visible to creators
- Add Internal Comments for notes meant only for your internal team
Once feedback has been shared, move creators to the correct workflow stage:
- Approved / Approved with Corrections → Move to Content Creation
- Needs Work → Move back to the Draft stage so they can resubmit

4. Compensating Creators
Decide: Will you be compensating creators?
If you are paying creators through Stripe (see: Compensating Creators: Stripe Incentives), the creator must connect their Stripe account to their Campaign Manager.
Creators must complete this step before they can receive payment, so be sure to allow enough time for them to do so. (Creator guide here: Connect Stripe & Get Paid for Campaigns).
Before prompting creators to connect Stripe, make sure you’ve completed the setup task below.
Task: Confirm that an incentive has been assigned
Creators cannot connect their Stripe account until an incentive has been assigned to them.
You must assign an incentive before asking a creator to connect Stripe.
How to assign an incentive
- Go to your campaign’s Workflow tab.
- Find the creator you want to edit.
- Click the |← arrow next to their name to open their profile.
- Select the Incentives tab, then click + Add Incentive.
- Choose the incentive type and fill in value, cost, and fulfillment details.
- Click Save to confirm.
