Stripe incentives let you pay creators directly through Later Influence via bank transfer. Payments are processed and tracked inside the platform — no manual uploads or external systems needed.
Create a Stripe Incentive
- In Later Influence, open your campaign (must be in Draft mode) and select Setup → Incentives
- Select + Add Incentive to create a new incentive
- Select Cash as the incentive type
- Select Stripe as the payment method
- Select the currency creators will receive. This option only appears if Stripe Global Payments is enabled on your account — contact your Account Executive to enable it. If you select a non-USD currency, payments are converted from USD at the day's exchange rate
- Enter the payment amount
- Select the fulfillment workflow stage (Pre-Payment or Post-Payment), or leave blank to ready manually
- Select Save
Before You Pay
Confirm the creator has connected their Stripe account. Their status appears in the Incentives tab of their campaign details:

Pay a Creator
- In Later Influence, open your campaign and select the Workflow tab
- Locate the creator and select the arrow icon to open their campaign details
- Select the Incentives tab
- Locate the Stripe Cash incentive and select Pay
- Confirm the amount and select Pay again
Pay Creators in Bulk
- In Later Influence, open your campaign and select the Workflow tab
- Move creators into the relevant payment stage (Pre-Payment or Post-Payment)
- Select all creators you want to pay
- Select Fulfill Incentive
- Review all selected incentives before confirming
Payment Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
| Initiated | Payment started; Stripe has received the transfer instruction |
| In transit | Funds moving to the creator's bank — usually 1–2 business days |
| Deposited | Payment landed in the creator's account |
| Deposit failed | Payout failed (e.g., invalid account). Stripe retries the next business day |
| Reversed | Payment withdrawn after depositing (rare) |
| Failed | Payment couldn't be initiated (e.g., insufficient funds) |
Automation and Reporting
Once a Stripe incentive is marked Fulfilled, the creator automatically moves to the Complete workflow stage and the payment is included in cost and ROI reporting. CPE, CPM, and CPP metrics refresh automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cancel a Stripe payment after it's initiated?
No. Once initiated, it can't be canceled. If it fails, Stripe retries automatically.
What if a creator changes their bank account?
Stripe marks the payment as Deposit failed. Once the creator updates their banking info, Stripe retries automatically.
Can I send payments in currencies other than USD?
Yes, with Global Payments enabled. All brand charges are in USD; Stripe converts to the creator's currency on payout. See Incentive Currency Details.
What if a creator hasn't connected Stripe yet?
They can't receive funds until they connect. Their payment shows as "Unpaid." Direct them to connect from their Campaign Manager in Later Social.
