The default workflow stages span the entire process of collaborating with influencers, from searching for potential candidates to reporting on influencers who have completed the campaign.

Applied stage definition
The Applied stage is designed to hold influencers who have applied to your campaign.
When to use the Applied stage
The Applied stage is recommended any time you want to curate the influencers you choose to participate in a campaign. Invite a wide group of influencers and narrow down your selections based on their applications.
The Applied stage is linked with Invited, meaning the two stages cannot be disabled or enabled on their own.
If you're running an ambassador program with the same influencers for each campaign, and they are already using the platform, skipping the Invited and Applied stages can streamline the workflow.
If you already know which influencers will participate in a campaign, you may still wish to use the campaign application for onboarding purposes. The Applied stage must be enabled for the application to work. Influencers who are sent the application link can provide their contact information, connect social accounts, and answer survey questions.
Stage-specific capabilities and tasks
Reviewing influencer applications, also known as curation, is a major step of the campaign process which occurs at the Applied stage.
When influencers are in the Applied stage, click on their profile images to open the lightbox profile and view the details associated with their application, including social accounts, preview posts, survey questions, and rates and/or concepts if applicable.
Before accepting or rejecting applications, you can also vote on influencers to review them internally. For additional detail and specific instructions, see Reviewing Applicants.
The review process is also shareable with stakeholders who don't log in to Later Influence™ (formerly Mavrck) directly. The Shareable Influencer Review feature allows you to share all profiles in the Applied stage with stakeholders, collecting their feedback and votes as well. See Shareable Influencer Review Link for additional detail on the available functionality and step-by-step instructions to share links.
Adding influencers to the Applied stage
Influencers enter the Applied stage of the workflow automatically when they complete the application associated with a campaign.
You can also manually promote influencers to the Applied stage, but if they have not opted-in yet, they cannot be promoted any further in the workflow.
Promoting influencers past the Applied stage
Influencers are promoted to the next stage manually when you review their application and choose to accept them into the campaign. For additional detail on reviewing applications, see below.
When viewing an influencer's lightbox profile in the Applied stage, you can click Accept or Reject at the top of the page to process their application, moving them to the next stage after Applied or the Dropped stage respectively.
You can also promote influencers from the Applied stage in bulk. Select profiles in the Workflow tab and click the Promote button that appears in the upper right corner.
Workflow phase
Stages are grouped into phases to reflect the status of influencers in the campaign at a higher level. The Applied stage is grouped in the Candidates phase.
When an influencer is in the Candidates phase of the workflow, no content can be bound to their profile and incentives cannot be fulfilled. Influencers who have not opted into your program cannot be promoted past the Candidates phase of any campaign.
Influencers in the Applied stage have typically opted-in by applying for the campaign and can be promoted to any further stage unless they were manually promoted to Applied and have not opted-in yet. If you are unable to promote an influencer past the Applied stage, check the History tab of their campaign details to verify if they were manually promoted.
See Comprehensive Workflow Logic for additional detail on workflow phases.
Related message templates
There are no default message templates specifically associated with the Applied stage.
You may wish to send a message to influencers when they reach the Applied stage to confirm that you have received their application. To set this up, create a custom message template and set it to send automatically at the Applied stage. See Setting Up Message Templates for additional detail.
Appearance to influencers
When an influencer is in the Applied stage of the campaign, that campaign is displayed in the list of All Campaigns visible to them from the influencer campaign manager (ICM), if they already have a link to the ICM from a previous campaign.
The appearance of the campaign application to influencers is detailed in the article Campaign Application Flow.
