Add influencer deliverables in campaign setup to communicate expectations to influencers in the influencer campaign manager and facilitate workflow automation.
There are three types of deliverables that can be added in Create Content campaigns.
- Create Content — Post on social media or upload images and videos.
- Amplify Content — Share a unique tracking link.
- Review Product — Write a product review.
When influencers complete all their deliverables in a campaign, they are automatically promoted past the Content Creation stage of the workflow. See Workflow Automation for more information.
Adding Influencer Deliverables
Create Content Deliverables — Post on social media or upload images and videos.
- Open the Setup tab of the relevant campaign, then the Influencer Deliverables page.
- Click the Add Deliverable button in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Create Content.
- Make your selection from the content types listed and enter the number of posts required per influencer.
- Enter a Binding Hashtag, which will be used to track content automatically. Make sure to use a unique hashtag for each campaign that is Live in Later Influence™ (formerly Mavrck) at the same time. See Binding Hashtags.
- Enter an FTC Hashtag, like #sponsored or #ad, which will be used to ensure compliance with regulations and display badges on content where the hashtag was not included.
- Repeat for additional deliverables.
Amplify Content Deliverables — Share a unique tracking link.
- Open the Setup tab of the relevant campaign, then the Influencer Deliverables page.
- Click the Add Deliverable button in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Amplify Content.
- Enter the URL you would like influencers to share with their audience.
- The platform will pull information from the URL to try and identify relevant images and copy for the title and description. You can edit these to suit your needs.
- Repeat for additional deliverables.
See Tracking Links for additional detail.
Review Product Deliverables — Write a product review.
- Open the Setup tab of the relevant campaign, then the Influencer Deliverables page.
- Click the Add Deliverable button in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Review Product.
- Select if you will determine the specific product(s) for influencers to review or if influencers will select their own products.
- Repeat for additional deliverables.
- Send influencers their review submission links using the Product Review merge tags that populate in the merge tag menu.
A review integration must be enabled. See Ratings & Reviews Overview for more information.
Due Dates
A due date must be set for all deliverables. All deliverables in a campaign have the same due date. If draft review is enabled, a separate draft due date is applied to all deliverables.
Due dates can be used to set reminder emails to send automatically in the days before or after content is due. See Setting Up Message Templates for additional detail.
Once influencers have been added to a campaign, their due dates can be updated in bulk or individually, but changes to the due dates in the Setup tab will not apply to them. See Setting & Updating Due Dates for more information.
Editing Influencer Deliverables
Influencer deliverables can be edited fully while a campaign is in Draft mode.
Influencer deliverables can be edited in some capacity after a campaign is set Live or Paused, but changes will only apply to influencers who are still in the Candidates, Invited, or Applied stages (Candidates phase) of the workflow.
The required count of a particular deliverable can be edited (i.e. changing 2 posts to be 3 posts), but deliverables cannot be deleted after a campaign has been set Live.
Influencers who are in the Participants phase of the workflow (any stage after Applied) will keep the influencer deliverables that were originally assigned to them when they were added to the campaign.
To edit deliverables for influencers who are already in the Participants phase, move them back to the Candidates phase of the workflow before editing, then move them back to their correct stage.
Requiring Draft Review
To require draft review for content deliverables, enable the Draft and Draft Review stages in the campaign workflow.
Draft review can be enabled while the campaign is in Draft mode or after it has been set live.
When draft review is enabled, all content deliverables must be submitted as drafts.
See Collecting and Reviewing Draft Content for additional detail on the draft review process.
Appearance to Influencers
Influencer deliverables are displayed in the influencer campaign manager (ICM), where influencers can view if they have completed a deliverable or if it is still pending.
There is a customizable campaign brief field in the ICM, also configured on the Influencer Deliverables setup page, which can be used to describe deliverables in additional detail. The default message templates also contain placeholders to describe deliverables.
Create Content deliverables are labeled in the campaign manager as Content Deliverables. Amplify Content deliverables are labeled as Conversion Tracking Links. Review Content deliverables are not displayed in the ICM.
