A canned response is a reusable reply you can insert when responding to creator messages. If you regularly receive similar questions, canned responses let you send consistent, detailed replies quickly. They can be used across all campaigns, in replies or new messages.

Create a Canned Response

1. In Later Influence, select Messages from the left sidebar
2. Select the Canned Responses sub-tab

3. Select Add Canned Response

   
    

4. Enter a title 

   Note: This is internal-facing only and won't be visible to creators
5. Enter the body of the response
6. Select Save

Canned responses can include inline images but don't support file attachments.

Send a Canned Response

1. Open a message thread and select Reply, or select New Message from the inbox
2. Select the paper icon in the message editor
3. Select the canned response(s) you'd like to use
4. Make any edits you need for this specific message
5. Select Send

Update a Canned Response

1. In Later Influence, select Messages from the left sidebar
2. Select the Canned Responses sub-tab
3. Open the existing canned response
4. Make your edits, then select Save

To archive a canned response, select the trash icon. To view archived responses, use the dropdown menu in the upper-left.

Merge Tags in Canned Responses

A limited selection of merge tags is available in canned responses, which include tags that aren't tied to a specific campaign. You can’t use campaign-specific merge tags such as {{due_date}}, {{campaign_name}}, or binding hashtag tags, since canned responses aren't campaign-specific.
