Confirmation stage definition
The Confirmation stage is designed to hold influencers who you have asked to confirm that they will participate in your campaign.
When to use the Confirmation stage
The Confirmation stage is recommended any time you want to confirm that your selected influencers are committed to participating in your campaign.
Use of the Confirmation stage is strongly recommended any time you are sending products or payments to influencers before they are expected to post.
Stage-specific capabilities and tasks
The Confirmation workflow stage is designed to support the process of influencers confirming that they will participate in the campaign.See Confirming Participation for additional detail and specific instructions.
Note that influencers must be in the Confirmation workflow stage or later before they can confirm their participation in this process.
Adding influencers to the Confirmation stage
Influencers are promoted to the Confirmation stage of the workflow manually. If the Applied stage is enabled, influencers are promoted to the Confirmation stage when you accept their campaign applications.
If you are running a campaign entirely with influencers you have already worked with, and don't need to review applications, you can enable Confirmation as the first stage of the workflow. When you add new influencers to the campaign, they will be added directly to the Confirmation stage.
Promoting influencers past the Confirmation stage
Influencers are automatically promoted to the next stage after Confirmation when they confirm their participation.
You can also promote influencers past the stage manually by selecting their profiles in the Workflow tab and clicking the Promote button that appears in the upper-right corner.
Workflow phase
Stages are grouped into phases to reflect the status of influencers in the campaign at a higher level. The Confirmation stage is grouped in the Participants phase.
All campaign functions such as content binding and incentive fulfillment are fully enabled for influencers in the Participants phase.
Note that influencers are considered to be in the "Participants workflow phase" even if their confirmation status is still pending and not yet "participating". See below for additional detail on the confirmation process.
See Comprehensive Workflow Logic for additional detail on workflow phases.

The Member Accepted message template is specifically associated with the Confirmation stage.
Appearance to influencers
In campaigns where the influencer campaign manager (ICM) is enabled, the Confirm Participation link, which is included in the Member Accepted message template, will route them to the confirmation module, and then to the ICM once they have confirmed.
In campaigns where the ICM is not enabled, the Confirm Participation link will route influencers to the confirmation module only.
