With hundreds of thousands of influencers to search from, Later Influence™ (formerly Mavrck)’s search tool enables you to dynamically narrow the pool and find the right group of influencers for your campaign.
Access Influencer Search
To access influencer search, select Influencers from the left navigation menu. By default, you’ll land on the Search tab which contains the keyword search bar at the top and the database and filter options in the left sidebar:
Database Options
There are two databases in the platform to search for influencers, the Influencer Index and your unique My Members database:
- Influencer Index: Later Influence's global database of influencer profiles, which is available to all users
- My Members: Influencers who have opted in to collaborate with your program
You can switch between these databases from the left sidebar:
Keyword Search
Enter keywords in the search bar at the top of the page to search for influencers by topics, hashtags, locations, and more:
Search results are based on influencer profile details, including Instagram bios and posts. You can search by:
- Name
- Social network handles
- Email address
- Hashtags
- Locations
- Keywords
- Emojis
By default, hashtag and keyword searches utilize "or" logic, meaning if you search for multiple hashtags or keywords in a single search, you'll see influencers that hit on any of those keywords or hashtags.
You can make several modifications to keyword search terms to customize your queries, such as required terms, excluded terms, significance, and partial matches.

AI Search
Later Influence’s keyword search can optionally be powered by OpenAI to uncover even more valuable results in less time.
Toggle AI-powered search on or off via the wand icon to the right of the search bar:

Similar Search
You can also use Later Influence search to find similar influencers. To run a similar search, simply enter "similar:" before an Instagram handle.
Example queries:
- Similar:@handle1
- Similar:@handle1,@handle2
- Similar:handle1
- Similar:handle1,handle2
Formatting notes for similar search:
- Don't include any spaces in the query
- To search for multiple handles, separate them via commas with no spaces
- @ symbols aren't necessary—the search will work with or without them
Filters
Select View All Filters from the sidebar to open the filters modal and customize your search further through 60+ options:
As you select filters, they’ll be shown at the top of the modal for reference, and any enabled filter categories in the sidebar will contain a highlighted badge:
These indicators help you identify any existing filters that are enabled to quickly make adjustments to them as needed. You can also select Clear Filters to clear them all at once and start over.
After selecting your filters, select the Find Influencers button at the bottom of the modal.
If the number is lower than you were hoping for, try broadening some of your filter selections.

** For influencers who have participated in at least one of your campaigns. Lifetime performance is based on all campaigns an influencer has participated in within your program.
Age, gender, and location may be programmatically assigned or self-reported. Content topics are programmatically assigned.

For each platform, you can filter for influencers who have that profile connected, and then filter among those by their follower or subscriber count.
For Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook, you can also filter by average engagements and engagement rate on that network.
Instagram Audience
Filter influencers using their Instagram audiences' demographic data to precisely target your desired audience.
Audience data is comprised of two sources:
- Instagram Audience Insights, for influencers with authenticated Instagram business profiles Learn more
