Use Brand Partner Access when you plan to promote a creator's YouTube Video or YouTube Short through Google Ads. This article explains how creators share access and what to do if the option is unavailable.
Share Brand Partner Access
Brand Partner Access is separate from the YouTube Binding Hashtag. It gives your brand access to the individual video in Google Ads.
To share Brand Partner Access, the creator:
- Opens the sponsored video's details in YouTube Studio or the YouTube mobile app
- Selects Paid Promotion & Brands
- Under Brand Partnerships, selects Share Access With a Code
- Selects Share Access Code
- Sends the access link to the brand
Your team opens the access link to connect the video to its Google Ads account.
Important: YouTube limits creator-generated access codes to creators in the YouTube Partner Program. If a creator cannot find this option, your team may need to request Brand Partner Access through Google Ads.
Troubleshoot Brand Partner Access
A Creator Can't Share Brand Partner Access
Creator-generated access codes are available only to creators in the YouTube Partner Program. If the creator cannot find the option, request Brand Partner Access through Google Ads.
