    Creator Sourcing: Common Search Scenarios

    This article answers common search questions with the specific filters to use. For full instructions on accessing and applying filters, see Creator Discovery: How to Search, Source, and Find Creators.

    Note: Audience Insights filters are only available for creators who have authenticated their social profiles in Later Social.

    Find Creators in a Specific Location

    Use the Location filters (Country, State (US), City) under the Influencer filters group. 

    For creators whose location appears in their bio or post captions rather than their profile settings, also try entering the city name as a keyword in the search bar — for example, "New York" or "NYC."

    Tip: Combine a location filter with a keyword to expand results without losing relevance.

    Filter by Engagement Rate

    Go to Social Platforms, select the relevant platform (Instagram or TikTok), and set a minimum Engagement Rate.

    Find Creators by Audience Language

    Under Instagram Audience, go to Demographics and select Language. Choose your target language (for example, Spanish).

    Find Creators by Audience Age Range

    Under Instagram Audience, go to Demographics and select Age Range. Choose one or more brackets (for example, 18–24 or 25–34).

    Find Micro-Influencers by Follower Count

    Under Social Platforms, select the relevant platform and set a Follower Count range (for example, 1,000–20,000 for Instagram). Repeat for other platforms as needed.

    Find Creators Active on Multiple Platforms

    Under Social Platforms, select Connected Platforms and choose the platforms you require (for example, Instagram and TikTok). Only creators with both platforms connected in Later Social will appear.

    Find Creators with Affiliate or Tracking Link Experience

    Under Influencer filters, go to Links Performance and select Has Links. This surfaces creators who have completed campaigns with affiliate or tracking link deliverables.

    Find Instagram-Only Creators

    Under Social Platforms, select Connected Platforms and choose Instagram only. Leave all other platforms unselected.

    Tip: Add a Follower Count filter and, optionally, an Engagement Rate filter to build a clean shortlist quickly.

    Example Workflow

    1. In the Influencers tab, search "clean beauty."
    2. Add Country: US.
    3. Set Instagram Engagement Rate to a minimum of 3%.
    4. Find one creator who fits well, then run similar:@handle in the search bar to expand your results.
    5. Save finalists to a named List (for example, "Clean Beauty – Launch List") for future use.
