Later’s Incentive Advisor helps brands set fair, data-driven rates for creator compensation. By analyzing real creator data with machine learning, it provides benchmarks for how much you can expect to pay for different types of content.
Why It Matters
Using Incentive Advisor helps you:
- Predict costs for specific content types before launching a campaign.
- Streamline planning and budgeting with reliable benchmarks.
- Reduce uncertainty in negotiations with creators.
- Support equitable, market-aligned pay, building stronger relationships.
In short, Incentive Advisor removes the guesswork from setting compensation rates.
Where to Find Incentive Advisor
- Open the Influencer Lightbox by clicking a creator’s profile image in search results or campaign participants (not their name).
- Go to the Insights tab.
- You’ll see suggested low–to–high compensation ranges for each supported content type.
Supported Content Types
Incentive Advisor currently provides estimates for:
- Instagram Feed Posts (single image and carousel)
- Instagram Reels
- Instagram Stories
- TikTok Posts
Note: Estimates only appear for social platforms the creator has connected. For example, no TikTok rates will display if the creator hasn’t connected TikTok.
How Incentive Advisor Works
The model uses a blend of audience analytics, engagement data, and proprietary Later payout history. Factors include:
- Follower count
- Number and type of posts
- Engagement analytics (likes, comments, reach, etc.)
- Later’s proprietary data on actual incentive payouts
Refresh cadence: Data is not real-time but is refreshed regularly to ensure accuracy.
Limitations to Know
- Incentive Advisor provides benchmarks, not guarantees. Creators may charge more or less.
- It covers cash compensation only (not product gifting or hybrid incentives).
- Local market variations (e.g., US vs EU rates) may not always be reflected.
- Rates assume authentic audience and standard engagement — fraud risk or niche influence may affect actual pricing.
