Every campaign can include due dates for deliverables. Due dates let you communicate clear deadlines to creators, automate reminder emails, track who has posted on time, and ensure content binds correctly to your campaign.
You can set due dates at the campaign level for all creators and update them at the creator level for individuals or groups.
Set a Campaign Due Date
- In Later Influence, open your campaign and select the Setup tab
- Select Deliverables, then add at least one deliverable
- Select Pick a date and choose the campaign due date from the calendar
Communicate Due Dates to Creators
Use the {{due_date}} merge tag in message templates — each creator sees their assigned date automatically without you editing each email individually. Creators can also view their due dates in the Campaign Manager in Later Social.
Automate Reminder Emails
Reminder templates send relative to the due date — for example, three days before or one day after.
- In Later Influence, open your campaign and select the Setup tab
- Select Message Templates
- Select or create a reminder template
- Click Delivery, then click Delivery Type to open a dropdown menu
- Set the delivery method to Automatic: On a date
- Enter how many days before or after the due date the message should send
- Optionally, restrict the template to the Content Creation stage
- Select Save
Update Due Dates for Individual Creators
- In Later Influence, open your campaign and select the Workflow tab
- Select the checkbox next to the relevant creator
- In the action bar, select More to open a dropdown
- Select Update Due Date and choose a new date
Update Due Dates in Bulk
- In Later Influence, open your campaign and select the Workflow tab
- Select the relevant creators using their checkboxes
- In the action bar, select More to open a dropdown
- Select Update Due Date and apply the new date to all selected creators
Draft Due Dates
If Draft and Draft Review are enabled in your workflow, you can set a separate draft due date alongside the final content due date.
- In Setup, enable Draft and Draft Review in your campaign's Workflow Stages settings
- In Deliverables, select a draft due date that falls before the final content due date
