The default workflow stages span the entire process of collaborating with influencers, from searching for potential candidates to reporting on influencers who have completed the campaign.
Learn more about each one of the default workflow stages in the Workflow Stages section or the workflow overall in the article Campaign Workflow Basics.

Dropped stage definition
The Dropped stage contains influencers who have been removed from the campaign or opted out using the confirmation feature.
When to use the Dropped stage
The Dropped stage is enabled in the workflow of all campaigns. It cannot be disabled.
You may wish to move influencers to the Dropped stage if you reject their campaign application, if they notify you they will no longer be participating, or if an issue arises.
Stage-specific capabilities and tasks
There is an important distinction between being dropped from a campaign and being removed or rejected from your database, which impacts all campaigns. See Removing an Influencer for additional detail on removing influencers and blocking them from future campaigns.
Adding influencers to the Dropped stage
There are several ways that influencers can be added to the Dropped stage of a campaign.
- Reviewing applications: Clicking the Reject button on an influencer's profile during the Applied stage
- Opt-out: Influencer clicks "Opt out of campaign" on the confirmation module accessible through the Confirm Participation link
- Drop button: Clicking the Drop button on an influencer's profile from any workflow stage
All of the following actions are campaign-specific. An influencer's participation in any other current campaigns or future campaigns is not affected by entering the Dropped stage.
Promoting influencers out of the Dropped stage
Influencers can be added back to the main workflow from the Dropped stage at any point.
To move an influencer back from the Dropped stage, select an influencer's profile in the Dropped stage and click the ... icon in the upper-right corner to open the action menu. Select a workflow stage to move them to and click OK.
Workflow phase
Workflow stages are grouped into phases to reflect the status of influencers in the campaign at a higher level.
Like the Dropped stage, the Dropped phase represents influencers who influencers have been removed from the campaign.
No content can be bound to influencers in the Dropped phase. Incentives can still be fulfilled as long as the influencer has not been removed.
Related message templates
There are no message templates associated with the Dropped stage. In the default workflow, there is no suggested contact with influencers in the Dropped stage.
In some cases, you may wish to notify applicants that they were not selected for the campaign. This can be automated by creating a custom message template and setting it to auto-send when influencers enter the Dropped stage.
Note that a message set to auto-send at the Dropped stage will also send to influencers who enter the stage by opting-out of the confirmation process or are dropped later on. We recommend disabling this automation after reviewing and accepting applications.
Appearance to influencers
When an influencer is in the Dropped stage of the campaign, that campaign is not displayed in the list of All Campaigns visible to them from the influencer campaign manager (ICM), if they already have a link to the ICM from a previous campaign, or if they received the ICM link prior to being Dropped.
If an influencer attempts to view the campaign details page for a campaign from which they have been Dropped, they will see a message letting them know the campaign is no longer available.
