Most of the time, creators move through workflow stages automatically — for example, when they submit drafts, confirm participation, or receive payment. However, there may be times when you need to update a stage manually, such as:
- Correcting an error (e.g., someone skipped a stage).
- Reverting a creator to an earlier stage so you can update their deliverables.
- Skipping optional stages that don’t apply to your campaign.
To manually update a Creator’s workflow stage
- Open the campaign and go to the Workflow tab.
- Use the checkboxes to select one or more creators.
- Select the box next to a creator’s profile image.
- Or use Select All at the top of the stage column.
- Click the three-dots menu in the upper-right corner of the stage.
- Choose Set Workflow Stage.
- Select the new stage you’d like to move the creator(s) to.
- Click OK to confirm.
Notes
Auto-promotion vs. manual promotion
-
Most default workflow stages (e.g., Applied → Confirmation → Pre-Payment) support auto-promotion.
-
If you manually move a creator forward, Later Influence won’t “re-check” earlier requirements. Be sure they’ve completed the necessary steps.
Deliverable edits
Deliverables can only be edited while a creator is in the Candidates phase. To update deliverables for someone further along, move them back to Candidates, make the edits, and then re-promote them.
