A transaction is created each time an incentive is fulfilled using the Stripe or Tango Card integration. Transactions are separate from the incentives they relate to — they have their own statuses, IDs, and history.

Transaction Types
| Type | Created when |
| Cash Payment | A Stripe incentive is fulfilled |
| Gift Card Payment | A Tango Card incentive is fulfilled |
| Refund | A Stripe transaction fails |
| Funds Increase | An administrator adds to the available funds balance |
| Funds Decrease | An administrator reduces the available funds balance |
Note: Funds Increase and Funds Decrease transactions don't move real money — they adjust the amount that can be fulfilled through Later Influence. See Available Funds for Incentive Integrations.
Transaction Statuses
Tango Card transactions, balance changes, and refunds always have the status Complete — no transaction is created if it can't be completed.
Stripe transactions can have these statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
| Pending | Payment initiated; funds not yet moving |
| Complete | Payment successfully deposited |
| Failed | Payment could not be completed |
When a Stripe transaction fails, the related incentive reverts to Ready status and can be re-fulfilled.
The Transactions Tab
The Transactions tab is located within the Incentives section and is only visible when an incentive integration is enabled.
- In Later Influence, select Incentives from the left sidebar
- Select the Transactions sub-tab
The tab header shows your available funds balance and includes filters for type, campaign, payment account, and status. Use the date range selector to view transactions within a specific period.
Transaction Ledger Columns
- ID: unique transaction ID
- Date: date and time initiated
- Type: Cash Payment, Gift Card Payment, Refund, Funds Increase, or Funds Decrease
- Recipient: creator associated with the transaction
- Campaign: campaign associated with the transaction (balance changes are not campaign-specific)
- Payment Account: connected payment account used
- Amount: dollar amount
- Status: current transaction status
Select the ⓘ icon next to any transaction to open its full details, including additional Stripe-specific information where applicable.
Export Transactions
- In Later Influence, select the Transactions tab in the Incentives section
- Apply your filters
- Select the export icon in the upper-right corner
The exported CSV includes:
- Date
- Campaign ID
- Transaction ID
- Recipient name and email
- Payment Account
- Amount, Status
- Transaction Type
Applied filters carry over to the export.
