Influencer properties are custom data points you can collect from influencers through survey questions added to campaign applications or research campaigns.

Overview

Influencer properties are comprised of questions that you add to forms and answers provided by influencers. Influencers' responses to any questions they have previously answered are stored on their profile in your database.

Influencer property questions can be added to campaign applications or used to create surveys for research campaigns.

Influencer property questions can be re-used across campaigns, ensuring your data is consistent. 

The following question types are available:

• Multiple-choice
• Checkboxes
• Freeform text
• Number
• Image

Add questions to a campaign application:

1. In the Setup tab of a campaign, open the Application sub-tab.
2. Scroll down to the Application Survey section.
3. Click Add A Question.
4. Select a saved question and click the checkmark to add it to the application or click Create New Question.
   • New questions contain the following fields:
     • Internal name (i.e. "shoe size")
     • Question (i.e. "What size shoe would you like to receive?")
     • Question type (i.e. Multiple-choice or write-in)
     • Answer choices, if applicable
     • Merge tag checkbox, optional
       • Check this box to create a merge tag you can use to insert influencer properties into a message (i.e. "Your sneakers in {{shoeSize | ''}} have been shipped!")
     • Hyperlink text, optional
       • Highlight text, click the link icon, and paste a URL to hyperlink the text:
         
         
5. Click the checkmark to save the question to the form.

Questions can be removed from forms by clicking the trash can icon. This will not impact any other campaigns using the same question.

View an influencer's responses (influencer properties):

To see all the influencer properties associated with an influencer, click their image to open their profile. Click the three-dots icon in the top right to expand the sidebar and open the Actions tab. 

Influencer properties will be displayed with both the question and response. Responses can be edited on behalf of the influencer by clicking the pencil icon. Influencers may also view and update their properties in the ICM.

Filter lists by influencer properties:

Multiple-choice and checkbox influencer properties can be used as search filters. Influencer properties are contained under the Demographics tab of filters. 

Export influencer property data:

Influencer property data can be exported from either the campaign workflow or the Incentives tab.

• Workflow exports
  • All influencer properties included on the campaign application will be included in exports from the campaign by workflow by default.
• Incentive exports
  • When exporting from the Incentives tab, you can select any influencer properties to be included in the export.

Manage influencer properties:

To access all the influencer properties you have created across campaigns, open the Settings tab then the Influencer Properties sub-tab.

On this page, you can view, edit, or archive any property, create new properties, and reactivate archived properties.
