Later Influence collects TikTok content through Posting Links, not hashtags.
This ensures accurate content binding, branded content compliance, and daily metric updates through TikTok Creator Marketplace (TCM).
How Creators Submit TikTok Content
Creators receive a campaign-specific Posting Link. This link allows them to:
- Upload their TikTok video
- Enable branded content settings
- Automatically associate the video with your campaign

Automatic Content Binding
TikTok posts do not rely on binding hashtags.
Instead:
- Videos uploaded or linked via Posting Link appear in Later after they have been live for 48 hours (This delay is enforced by TikTok’s API.)
- Content binds automatically once available
- Retroactively linked content binds immediately after the creator associates the post
If content does not appear, verify:
- The creator used the Posting Link for the correct campaign
- The creator’s TikTok account is properly connected
- The post has been live for at least 48 hours.
Collecting Metrics Automatically
Once TikTok content is bound:
- Metrics refresh once per day, between 12:00–2:00 UTC
- Metrics update for 21 days, or until the creator publishes 30 newer videos—whichever comes first
- TikTok does not support longer-term or lifetime data pulls.

- Video Views (Impressions)

- Engagements (Likes + Comments + Shares)
Note:
- TikTok counts a view the moment a video begins playing.
- TikTok does not report unique impressions.

These demographics reflect the creator’s TikTok audience, not campaign-specific viewers.

How TikTok Content Appears in Later Influence
Playable Content
Videos are playable directly inside Later Influence. The platform retrieves a thumbnail for exports (TikTok does not provide downloadable video files via API).
Exporting Actual TikTok Video Files
TikTok does not allow API download of full video files.
If you need real video files:
- Add a Video deliverable in campaign setup.
- Creators will be required to upload the original file in their Campaign Manager.
- You can bulk export these files by filtering for Content Type → Video in the Content tab.
