Building a strong creator community starts with onboarding. Later Influence provides a built-in Influencer Onboarding Form campaign that helps you collect information, authenticate accounts, and populate your My Members database.
This guide explains what the onboarding form is, how to customize it, and how to bring in both new and existing creators.
What is the Influencer Onboarding Form?
A default campaign called “Influencer Onboarding Form” is included in your account.
When creators complete the form, they are automatically added to your My Members database.
The form collects:
- Demographic information (age, gender, location, etc.)
- Social account authentication (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Any custom questions you add (e.g., niche, past brand partnerships, product preferences)
- These responses are saved as Influencer Properties that you can then filter by.
How to Customize the Application
- Open the Influencer Onboarding Form campaign from your Campaigns list.
- Go to Setup → Application.
- Upload an application image (800 × 800px, max 20MB, JPG/PNG/TIF).
- Edit the text on the right of the image (click the pencil icon).
- Add or edit custom questions to collect the data points you need.
- Supported types: multiple-choice, checkboxes, freeform text.
- Switch the campaign toggle from Draft → Live.
Your onboarding form link is now live and available under the Application tab
Collecting Relevant Information from Creators
Every response to your custom questions is stored on the creator’s profile in My Members.
Properties can be reused across campaigns, ensuring consistent data collection, and you can manage properties centrally under Settings → Influencer Properties (create, edit, archive, reactivate).
Tip: You can filter by properties in search or lists (e.g., filter all Members who answered “Yes” to “Has used our product before”).
Note: Property data is automatically included in workflow exports, and can be selectively exported from the Incentives tab.
Onboarding Your Existing Creators
If you already work with creators, you can invite them to use Later by asking them to complete the onboarding form.
Steps:
- Customize your onboarding form (see above).
- Draft a communication to your existing roster explaining the new platform.
- Include the Onboarding Form URL (found under Setup → Application).
- Send the communication using the channel you normally use (email, DM, etc.).
This ensures all creators re-opt in, authenticate, and are properly added to your My Members database
Accessing Your Members
Once creators complete the onboarding form, they are visible under Influencers → My Members.
You can filter and search them just like the global Influencer Index, but with the added benefit of custom data from your form.
