Tracking links let you measure the audience traffic and conversions that creators drive to your website. Later Influence generates a unique link per creator in each campaign. When a creator shares their link and a viewer selects it, the click is recorded in the platform.

How It Works
- Add a destination URL to a campaign — either one URL for all creators (bulk) or individual URLs per creator
- Later Influence generates a unique tracking link for each creator
- Creators share their unique links alongside campaign content
- Clicks and conversions are recorded in Later Influence
When a viewer selects a tracking link, they're briefly redirected through Later Influence's tracking domain, then forwarded to the destination URL with the creator's ID appended. This redirection is invisible to viewers.
brand.com/summer-sale becomes a unique link like brand.mvk.co/abc12 for one creator and brand.mvk.co/xyz89 for another. Viewers are immediately redirected to brand.com/summer-sale?mvkReferringMemberId=1.Clicks
Tracking clicks requires no technical setup. Create tracking links in a campaign, distribute them to creators, and Later Influence records unique clicks automatically.
Clicks are not attributed to specific pieces of content — the total clicks on a tracking link may come from any post or source where the link was shared. To track the same destination URL across different platforms or content types, create separate tracking links with the same target URL and different labels.
Where to view click data:
- Link level: select the Tracking Links tab in a creator's ICD to see clicks per individual link
- Influencer level: export a creator's profile from the Influencers section to see their lifetime clicks across all campaigns
- Campaign level: view total clicks across all creators and links in the Campaign Performance Report
- Program level: use the Reports section to see total clicks across all campaigns over time
Conversions
Tracking conversions requires installing two short code snippets on your website. See Conversion Tracking Setup for full instructions.
Once installed, Later Influence records a conversion each time a viewer who clicked a tracking link completes the defined action (for example, a purchase) on the same device and browser within 4 weeks of clicking.
The following conversion data is available at the campaign and program level:
- Number of unique clicks
- Number of conversions (if conversion tracking is configured)
- Value of conversions (if configured)
Security
Later Influence uses Everflow to generate tracking links and record clicks and conversions. Anonymized IP addresses and timestamps are available through Everflow but are not surfaced in the platform. No personal information about creators or end users is stored in Everflow. See Everflow's Privacy Policy for more information.
