Staying on top of campaign activity is critical to running smooth influencer programs. Later Influence provides flexible notification settings so you can receive updates where and when you need them.
You can choose to receive notifications by:
- In-App — alerts appear directly in your Later Influence dashboard.
- Email Forwarding — campaign messages are forwarded to your work inbox.
- Daily/Weekly Digest — consolidated updates sent at your preferred time.
How to Manage In-App and Email Notifications
- From the Campaigns page, click the (…) next to a specific campaign.
- Select Manage Notifications.
- In the pop-up window, configure:
- Which activities you want notifications for.
- Whether alerts should be In-App, Email, or both.
- The frequency of email digests (e.g., daily at 8am EST).
Notification Preferences
You can toggle in-app and email notifications for:
- New Messages
- New Content
- Participant Confirmations
- New Campaign Applicants
- New Draft Submissions
- Failed Payments
Email Forwarding
Email forwarding sends campaign message notifications to your login email address in addition to your platform inbox.
Benefits:
- Read and reply directly from your work inbox.
- Links to each creator’s profile are included for context.
- All conversations remain logged in Later Influence, even if you reply by email.
Notes:
- Messages forward only for influencers who are accepted into your campaign and not in the Complete stage.
- This reduces inbox noise by excluding irrelevant messages.
- Forwarded emails are grouped into threads for easier management.
Task List Integration
From the notification settings pop-up, you can also enable:
Add Campaign to My Task List → Track pending actions across all campaigns in your dashboard or the left-side menu.
This helps centralize campaign to-dos without relying solely on notifications. Learn more: Tasks
Best Practices
- Use both in-app and email → In-app is great for quick checks; email forwarding ensures time-sensitive alerts don’t get missed.
- Set a daily digest → Reduces notification fatigue by consolidating less urgent updates.
- Enable Task List → Provides ongoing visibility into what’s due across all campaigns.
- Review preferences regularly → Adjust settings as campaign needs change.
FAQs: Managing Notifications in Later Influence
How can I be notified when drafts are ready for review?
You can enable notifications for New Draft Submissions in your campaign’s notification settings:
- From your campaign, click the (⋯) menu.
- Select Manage Notifications.
- In the pop-up, toggle New Draft Submissions for either In-App, Email, or both.
You’ll now receive an alert each time a creator submits a draft for approval.
Can I get notifications for new campaign applicants?
Yes. In the same Manage Notifications window, toggle New Campaign Applicants to stay updated whenever a creator applies to your campaign.
What’s the difference between in-app and email notifications?
- In-App: Notifications appear in your Later Influence dashboard in real time.
- Email Forwarding: Notifications are also sent to your work inbox, so you don’t need to log in to check updates.
Can I track notifications as tasks instead of alerts?
Yes. From the Manage Notifications window, enable Add Campaign to My Task List. This feature adds reminders to your Tasks panel so you can track actions (like pending reviews or approvals) alongside other to-dos.
Are notifications available at the account level?
Notifications are configured per campaign, so you can customize them based on what’s most relevant to each project.
