If you’re an admin user in a Later Influence™ (formerly Mavrck) instance, you can manage that instance’s users directly within the app. This allows you to onboard your team while ensuring everyone has the appropriate level of control.
This article covers user roles and how to invite, edit, and remove users in Later Influence instances.
User Roles
When inviting a user to a Later Influence instance, you’ll need to assign them the role of Admin or Member. A user can have a different role in each instance they have access to. The table below compares the access level for each role:

Invite Users
If you have admin access to a Later Influence instance, you can invite additional users to it as follows:
- From the left navigation menu, select Settings
- Select Users
- Select + Invite Users
- Enter the user’s email address
- If the email address you entered is already an active user on the instance, you won’t be able to invite them again—instead, you can change their role
- Under Role, select Admin or Member

- To invite multiple users in bulk, select + Invite another user
- Once all users have been added, select Send Invite
The user(s) will be emailed an invite link—they will have to open it and select Accept Invitation to gain access to the instance.
If they already have a Later Influence account under that email address, they’ll be directed to the instance. If they don’t have a Later Influence account yet, they’ll be prompted to create one first.
Manage Users
Once a user has accepted their invitation (and created their Later Influence account, if necessary), they’ll be added to the instance and any admins for that instance will be able to view and manage them directly within the app.
View Users
You can view the full list of users along with their roles and invitation statuses from the Users page. Each instance has its own separate Users page. This page can be accessed in the app as follows:
- From the left navigation menu, select Settings
- Select Users
Use the dropdown menu at the top of the table to filter the user list by Status. The possible invitation statuses are:
- Active: The user has accepted their invitation and has access to this instance
- Invited: The user has been invited, but hasn’t accepted their invitation yet

Invite Expired: The user’s invite has expired (after 14 days) and they won’t be able to join the instance unless they’re sent a new invitation

Change User Roles
Admins can change users’ roles at any time.
To change a user’s role:
- From the left navigation menu, select Settings
- Select Users
- Next to the user whose role you want to change, select the edit (pencil) icon:
- Select the user’s new role from the dropdown menu
- Select Save
The user will receive an email to notify them that their role has changed.
Remove Users
Removing a user from an instance won’t delete their Later Influence account; they’ll still maintain the same access level to any other instances they’ve been invited to, if applicable. (If they don’t have access to any other instances, they won’t be able to access the Later Influence app after being removed.)
To remove a user from an instance:
- From the left navigation menu, select Settings
- Select Users
- Next to the user you want to remove, select the trash can icon:
- Select Remove to confirm
