In order for Later Influence™ (formerly Mavrck) to track your Instagram deliverables and metrics automatically, you must have an Instagram business or creator profile that is connected to a Facebook Page. This is a requirement set by Meta in order to grant access to the API that allows Later to track your content.
Note: Due to Instagram API changes, Later no longer supports new Instagram personal profile connections.
If you choose not to connect your Instagram profile to a Facebook Page:
- You won’t be able to connect your Instagram profile to Later Influence, even if it’s a business or creator profile
- You won’t see your Instagram profile available as an option in the account connection module of the Influencer Campaign Manager
- You’ll need to manually self-report any Instagram content deliverables for your campaigns
Tip: You don’t need to actively use your Facebook Page or promote it to your audience. Instagram just requires that your profile be connected to a Page in order to unlock certain features in their API (and therefore in Later).
