When it's time to receive payment from a campaign, Later Influence™ (formerly Mavrck) integrates with PayPal, Stripe, and Tango Cards to support cash payments and digital gift cards. Brands may also send products or promo codes instead of or in addition to monetary payments.
Payments are managed at each brand's discretion and may also be managed outside of the platform.
Payment Details
Brands include payment details in campaign emails and the influencer campaign manager (ICM) when applicable. If you have any questions about payment for a campaign, please reach out to your campaign contact by responding to one of their emails.
Stripe
What do I need to do to get paid via Stripe?
If you don't have a Stripe account already, you’ll be prompted to create one when you are accepted to a campaign with a Stripe incentive. You can also use an existing Stripe account.
Make sure your Stripe account is active and you have access to the email address it is associated with. The email on your Stripe account does not have to match your contact email in Later Influence.
How will I receive payment via Stripe?
Once you’ve verified your account with Stripe, there is no further action required to receive payments. After a brand initiates payment, you’ll be able to view the status of the funds in your Stripe Express dashboard. It typically takes around 2 business days for the bank transfer to complete.
My Stripe payment was sent to the wrong email address. What should I do?
Please reach out to your campaign contact to have them cancel and resend the payment.
There is an issue with my Stripe account. What should I do?
Please contact Stripe Support.
While Later Influence is unable to address issues within Stripe, please let your campaign contact know if you are having trouble or wish to use an alternate payment address.
PayPal
What do I need to do to get paid via PayPal?
Create a PayPal account, if you don't have one already, or log in to an existing account. Make sure your account is active and you have access to the email address it is associated with.
By default, payments are sent to the contact email on your profile, which can be updated when you complete an application form, confirm your participation, or access the ICM. Ensure your contact email matches the email on your PayPal account.
If your contact email for campaigns is different than the email associated with your PayPal account, please notify your campaign contact. Some campaigns may ask you to confirm your PayPal email address before processing payments, but this step is not always included.
How will I receive payment via PayPal?
When a payment is sent from a campaign, you will receive an email from PayPal. To claim the payment, follow the instructions in the email from PayPal. If you do not claim a payment after 30 days, it will be returned to the sender.
The sender may appear as "Apifia Co." or the name of the brand or agency running the campaign.
There are no fees incurred when receiving payment through PayPal.
My PayPal payment was sent to the wrong email address. What should I do?

Gift Card Payments
What do I need to do to get paid via gift card?
You do not need to create an account to receive gift card payments through Later Influence's Tango Cards integration.
Brands using their own gift cards may have unique requirements. Read campaign emails carefully and reach out to your campaign contact if you have questions or concerns.
How will I receive payment via gift card?
Gift card payments are sent to your contact email. When a gift card payment is sent through the integration, you'll receive an email from the campaign via "Rewards Genius" with instructions to claim and redeem the digital gift card.
General Payment Questions
Do I need to submit tax forms for campaigns?
Later Influence does not require or manage any tax forms.
If you receive payments through PayPal/Stripe or Tango Cards, tax forms are managed by that service. 1099 Forms are accessible from your PayPal/Stripe account or qualifying Tango Card payments.
When receiving payments in any other form, consult with your campaign contact directly.
My payment is late. What should I do?
We apologize for any inconvenience. Please be advised that payments are managed by brands rather than Later Influence itself.
We recommend that you first check your email inbox for any proactive communication from the campaign about potential delays. If you have not received an update, reach out to your campaign contact by replying to an email they've sent you. Replying to an email sent from the campaign will help your message appear at the top of their inbox. If you have not received a response from your campaign contact, reach out to our team for further assistance.
