While you can connect your blog to Later Influence through the influencer campaign manager (ICM), this simply enables the brands you work with to easily access your site. Blog metrics can’t be automatically collected by Later Influence, so self-reporting is required for campaigns with blog deliverables.
Similarly, only Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest profiles can be connected via the ICM for automatic metrics tracking at this time—while campaigns can require deliverables on other platforms than these, you’ll be required to self-report their metrics.
For details on how to self-report content, please see this article.
Connect Your Blog
You can connect your blog to the ICM as follows:
- Open the application form or ICM for the relevant campaign and complete any relevant fields until you reach the account connection module:
Note: Connecting your blog is optional and will always be listed under Optional Accounts. Self-reporting is required for blog content regardless of whether you connect it through the ICM. - Click Connect (or Update) next to the orange blog symbol shown below:
- Select your Blog Network (out of the options WordPress, Medium, Tumblr, or Other) and enter your blog’s name & URL (its link), then click Save:
- That’s it! The name of your blog will now be displayed in the account connection module:
Tip: If you click the name of your blog in the connection module, it should open your blog in a new tab. If that new tab doesn’t direct to your blog, double-check that you entered its URL (link) correctly by clicking Update. - Proceed to connect any required social profiles for the campaign (if needed), then click Continue to proceed with your application
Remember, adding your blog to the ICM enables brands to access it more easily, but metrics from blog content can’t be collected automatically by Later Influence. If you’re participating in a campaign with a blog deliverable, you’ll be prompted to self-report your post. Learn more about self-reporting
Connect Other Platforms
At this time, only Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest can be connected via the ICM. Other social media platforms can’t be connected at this time due to a lack of integration support, but it’s still possible to track deliverables for these platforms through manual self-reporting.
Brands may request your handles on other platforms—such as YouTube, Twitch, or LinkedIn—in the survey section of campaign applications. Content from these platforms can only be tracked manually. If you are participating in a campaign with deliverables on other platforms, you’ll be prompted to self-report your content. Learn more about self-reporting
