This article covers commonly asked questions about connecting your social profiles to Later Influence™ (formerly Mavrck) as a creator, as well as additional resources on connections and troubleshooting.
Why do I have to connect my social profiles to Later Influence?
Connecting your social profiles to Later Influence allows the platform to track your content and metrics automatically.
This means that brands can track all influencer-generated content from a central dashboard with accurate reporting, and that you as the creator don't have to take screenshots of metrics or manually send links to your posts.
No posts or changes are ever made to your connected profiles. In addition, Later Influence works with each social media platform directly to certify appropriate use and data security.
How do I connect my social profiles?
We have dedicated guides on how to connect to each social platform, each including troubleshooting steps for common issues, linked below:
Can I connect my blog?
You can connect your blog in the ICM for brands to easily access it, but self-reporting is required to collect blog metrics (as well as metrics for any other social platform not listed above). See Connect a Blog or Other Platform for more details.
Is there an alternative to connecting my social profiles?
Yes. If you don’t want to connect your profiles to the platform, you have the option to manually self-report content instead. Self-reporting is also required for blogs and any platform other than Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest. This includes YouTube, Twitch, and LinkedIn.
Self-reported content metrics don’t update automatically. You’ll have to self-report from the Content Deliverables section of the ICM, or via a direct link sent by the brand. Learn more about self-reporting
Which profiles do I have to connect?
It will be indicated in the ICM which profiles are required and optional. For most campaigns, you must connect the social profiles to which content will be posted.
How does Later Influence know which content to track on my profile?
Later Influence uses binding hashtags to identify which content to track for specific campaigns. These hashtags are unique to the campaign and will be provided in the campaign brief so you know which one to use.
Can I disconnect my social profiles?
Yes, you can remove Later Influence’s access to your social profiles at any point. Access is revoked via the individual platforms’ settings (not within Later Influence itself):
