Later Influence™ (formerly Mavrck)’s integration with the Tango Card Gift Card API gives you access to Tango Card's complete catalog of digital gift cards to incentivize creators for campaigns. 

Once the integration is enabled, digital gift cards can be easily configured and distributed automatically through your campaigns.

Gift Card Options

Tango Card supports a wide variety of digital gift cards, including Amazon and Visa Prepaid options in multiple currencies. See their complete catalog here: Tango Card Rewards Catalog 

All cards available in the Tango Card catalog can be ingested into the platform. Many cards can be set to any value, though some cards may have increment limits (i.e. Value must be set to a multiple of $25).

If you would like to use a Tango Card type that has not yet been made available in the platform, please reach out to your Later Influence CSM.

Account Options

You may use Later Influence’s Tango Card account to issue payments or create your own Tango Card account that can be integrated with the platform. There are different considerations for each.

Using your own account

You must create your own account in Rewards Genius (parent company of Tango Card) and then submit API keys to Later Influence to be integrated with the platform.

Once the integration is configured, you can add funds to the platform at any time with no processing fees applied.

Using Later Influence’s account

You do not need to configure anything to use the Later Influence Tango Card account. Your CSM will connect the account to your program.

You must follow an incentive-funding process led by your CSM to make funds available to spend. There is an incentive processing fee applied. Please reach out to your CSM for additional detail.

Integration Setup

• Using Later Influence's account and/or managed service hours: Reach out to your CSM to get started. They will share an incentive request order form (IROF) to be completed before funds are added to the platform.
• Using your own account: Create a Rewards Genius account (reference). Submit a request to your Rewards Genius CSM to enable their Gift Card API. Securely share the API keys with your Later Influence CSM to be integrated.

Email Templates

Tango Card allows for customization of the email templates used when gift cards are delivered via email. This template is first created in the Rewards Genius UI, then imported into the database automatically by the Later Influence system.

• Using Later Influence's account: Your CSM will work with you to customize and implement your template message.
• Using your own account: Customize email templates in the Rewards Genius UI. The platform ingests new templates automatically and updates each time the "Edit Incentive" dialog is opened.

Creating Gift Card Incentives

Campaign incentives: The same payment for all influencers who participate in the campaign.

1. Create a new campaign or navigate to a draft campaign.
2. Open the Campaign setup tab then the Incentives sub-tab.
3. Click the plus sign icon to create a new incentive.
4. Select Gift Card as the incentive type.
5. Select Tango Card as the fulfillment option.
6. Select a card type from the Gift Card Option field.
7. If more than one Gift Card Template option is present, select the template message to send when gift cards are delivered.
8. Enter the value of the gift card.
9. Select the fulfillment workflow stage (Pre-payment or Post-payment).
10. Click Save.

Influencer-specific incentives: Unique payments created for individual influencers. 

1. Navigate to the influencer in the workflow of the campaign.
2. Click the arrow icon to open their campaign details.
3. Open the Incentives tab of their profile.
4. Click Add Incentive to create an incentive.
5. Select Tango Card as the fulfillment option.
6. Select a card type from the Gift Card Option field.
7. If more than one Gift Card Template option is present, select the template message to send when gift cards are delivered.
8. Enter the value of the gift card.
9. Select the fulfillment workflow stage (Pre-Payment or Post-Payment).
10. Click Save.

Fulfilling Gift Card Incentives

Incentives are ready to be fulfilled once influencers reach the payment stage associated with the incentive in setup (Pre-Payment or Post-Payment).

Like other incentive types, Tango Card gift cards can be fulfilled in bulk or individually. See Updating Incentive Fulfillment Statuses for more information.

Influencer Experience

Influencers do not have to create an account of any kind to receive a Tango Card payment. Payments are delivered via email with the gift card redemption code in the email body itself. The template used for payment delivery emails is customizable.

Managing Transactions

View completed Tango Card transactions in the Transactions tab of the Incentives section.

There are no fees associated with individual Tango Card transactions. 

Transactions associated with fulfilled Tango Card incentives appear in the Transactions tab.

The status of a Tango Card transaction is known immediately upon hitting the Pay button (successful or failed). If a payment fails, there is no transaction created. As there can be no failed transactions, the Transactions ledger will only include successful Tango Card payments.
