A typical campaign workflow in Later Influence™ (formerly Mavrck) includes 5-10 simple steps.
Please note that each campaign may use a different workflow, customized by the brand or program. A campaign may include all of these steps or only a few.
Always read campaign messages closely to understand specific details and expectations.
Example Campaign Workflow
- Invitation: A brand finds your profile and invites you to apply for a campaign.
- Application: You apply for the campaign and the brand reviews applications.
- Confirmation: If selected, the brand asks you to confirm that you'll participate.
- Communication: The brand emails you next steps.
- Draft Review: Upload drafts of your content and receive feedback.
- Content Creation: Post your content with required hashtags so it can be tracked automatically.
- Payment: Receive payment for the campaign through PayPal/Stripe, digital gift card, or other methods.
Invitation: How do I get invited to campaigns? What happens next?
Campaign invitations are sent via email and include a link to the application form where you can opt-in to the campaign.
If you'd like to participate, apply for the campaign. Applying for a campaign does not commit you to participate or guarantee that you will be selected to participate. If you're not interested in the specific campaign, you can simply ignore the invitation. If you'd like to unsubscribe from the brand, use the unsubscribe link in the invitation email.
New opportunities: You may receive invitations from brands you have not worked with yet if your profile is included in the Influencer Index, the database that is available to all brands using Later Influence. Want to receive new opportunities? Join the Influencer Index now.
Existing relationships: If you have an existing relationship with a brand that is starting to use Later Influence, they will send you an application link to create a profile in their Later Influence database.

Application: How do I apply for a campaign? What happens next?
Once you've received an application link, completing an application form typically takes about five minutes. To complete a standard application:
- Log in using Facebook or email.
- Enter your contact information and agree to the terms.
- Connect your social accounts.
- Answer campaign-specific questions.
To learn more, see Application.
Confirmation: How will I know I've been chosen to participate?
If a brand accepts your application to participate in a campaign, they will send an email asking you to confirm your participation by a certain date. If you do not confirm within the timeframe, you may lose the chance to participate.
To confirm your participation, follow the link in the email. Review your contact information and agree to the terms that were included on the application.
If the brand is utilizing the campaign manager feature, you will be redirected to your unique dashboard upon confirmation.
To learn more, see Confirmation.
Communication: What information will I receive from the brand? What is the campaign manager?
Later Influence provides two primary methods of communication between brands and influencers: email and the influencer campaign manager (ICM)
Brands send and receive emails through Later Influence, allowing them to track messages alongside other campaign activities, like content creation and payment. When you are participating in a campaign, you'll receive email notifications as you move through the campaign process. Email notifications will provide information about the campaign and prompt you to complete tasks using the ICM or other platform links.
The ICM can provide you with all campaign details and tasks on one mobile-friendly page. Brands can choose to enable or disable the ICM for each campaign.
To learn more, see Communication.
Draft Review: Where do I submit drafts? How do I get feedback?
Many brands use a draft review process in their campaigns to review content before it is published. Reviewing draft content allows the brand to ensure your images, videos, and captions meet expectations and guidelines before they are posted publicly.
When you participate in a campaign with draft review, you'll be prompted to upload your content and captions to the platform before posting, using the ICM or through a direct link to the draft submission page. The brand will approve your content or provide feedback through the same link.
To learn more, see Draft Review.
Content Creation: How do I post content? Where does the brand see it?
Once you've confirmed your participation and submitted any draft requirements, it's time for content creation.
Most content that you post for campaigns can be pulled into the platform automatically, allowing the brand to track performance in a central dashboard. Some content types may need to be self-reported.
To learn more, see Content Creation.
Payment: How do I get paid?
When it's time to receive payment from a campaign, Later Influence integrates with PayPal, Stripe, and Tango Cards to support cash payments and digital gift cards. Payments are managed at each brand's discretion and may also be managed outside of the platform.
