What is Later Influence™ (formerly Mavrck)?
Later Influence is the all-in-one influencer marketing platform for enterprise brands. Brands and agencies use Later Influence to run influencer marketing campaigns and manage ongoing influencer programs.
Later Influence is a software solution, not an agency. When you work with a brand using Later Influence, you enter into a relationship with the brand directly and the platform is used to streamline collaboration.
As an influencer, you always have the choice to share your profile with only the brands you choose or to make your profile available to all brands through the Later Influence Influencer Index.
What is the Later Influence Influencer Index?
Within Later Influence, the Influencer Index is a database of contactable profiles that is available to all brands using the platform.
As an influencer, you can opt-in to join the Influencer Index to receive new collaboration opportunities. You can unsubscribe or delete your data at any time.
The Influencer Index also contains social profiles with publicly available email addresses. If you have included your email address in an Instagram bio, blog, or other social media, you may appear in the Influencer Index already. You can opt-out or delete your data at any time.
Opting-in to work with a specific brand using Later Influence does not add your profile or email address to the Influencer Index. By default, your information is only shared with the specific brand you sign up to work with.
Who am I working with?
When you work with a brand using Later Influence, you enter into a relationship with the brand directly. Later Influence provides the software that enables the brand to communicate with you, while the brand is responsible for all aspects of campaign execution, including creative direction and payment.
You must agree to Later Influence’s Terms of Use to participate through the platform. Additional terms and agreements set forth by each brand are also required.
Some brands utilize the Professional Services team at Later Influence to execute campaigns on their behalf; while you may engage with Later Influence team members directly, they are acting on behalf of the brand.
Sounds good. How do I get started?
If you wish to receive new collaboration opportunities, opt-in to join the Influencer Index. Signing up is as simple as completing a basic application form managed by Later Influence. Once you complete the form, your profile will be searchable by all brands using Later Influence. If your profile appears in search results as a good fit for a brand, you may receive an email inviting you to apply. Brands typically cast a wide net when sending invitations, then make final selections based on the applications received in order to gauge interest and collect additional information.
If you wish to work with a specific brand, you must receive a link to an application form.
- If you have an existing relationship with a brand that is starting to use Later Influence, they will send you a form to create a profile in their Later Influence database.
- If your profile is in the Influencer Index, new brands may discover you in search results and invite you to apply.
- Some brands may publish an application form on their website or social media as an open call for new influencers to collaborate.
What are campaigns?
Across all forms of marketing, brands use campaigns to organize their efforts. A marketing campaign consists of multiple activities with a common goal, theme, or timeline.
Influencer marketing campaigns are designed to produce content and reach targeted audiences by collaborating with influencers.
Campaigns make up the main functionality of the Later Influence platform. Collaborating with a brand using Later Influence always involves a campaign entity in the platform, even if the brand does not use individual campaigns with distinct themes.
Campaigns are highly-customizable by brands and the workflow may be quite different from one to the next. The typical campaign process is outlined below and in the Campaigns section, but brands can simplify the process to nothing more than content creation or add any number of additional steps.

What is the process to participate in a campaign?
Brands can customize their programs in a variety of ways, but most campaigns follow the same high-level process outlined below.
- Invitation: A brand discovers your profile and invites you to apply.
- Application: You apply for the campaign and the brand makes final sections.
- Confirmation: If selected, the brand asks you to confirm that you will participate.
- Communication: The brand emails you next steps and a link to your individual campaign manager dashboard.
- Draft Review: Upload drafts of your content and receive feedback.
- Content Creation: Post your content with required hashtags so it can be tracked automatically.
- Payment: Receive payment for the campaign through PayPal, Stripe, digital gift card, or other methods.
A campaign may include each one of these steps or only a handful. Always read campaign messages closely to understand specific details and expectations.
